THE GLENN GOULD SCHOOL OF MUSIC

Founded in 1886, The Royal Conservatory has a long tradition of excellence in musical training. Its renowned alumni range from Glenn Gould to Teresa Stratas, from Jon Vickers to Mario Bernardi.

Today, The Glenn Gould School continues the Conservatory's dedication in developing artistic leaders with a unique and innovative performance curriculum. This school was created in 1987 as The Royal Conservatory of Music Professional School and renamed in 1997 to honour one of the greatest musical minds in history.

Notable alumni of The Glenn Gould School include the St. Lawrence String Quartet, Naida Cole, Mariko Anraku, Li Wang, and Isabel Bayrakdarian.
